Molly Hodson
Molly Hodson, a Kansas native, is the flutist and a founding member for Found Sound. Molly enjoys the challenge of contemporary music and how it pushes the performer. In 2019, she commissioned the piece "progressively smaller TVs" by Kristopher Bendrick where she sings, plays flute and piano at the same time. Molly also enjoys teaching. She started a flute studio in 2014, has conducted flute choirs and ran masterclasses for high school students. Molly holds a BM from Washburn University and an MM from Western Michigan University, both in flute performance. Molly currently resides in Philadelphia with her partner. In her free time, she enjoys board games and snuggling with her cat, Ichabod.
